Global Astronomy Month

Hello Everyone!

How you all are doing? Hope everyone is safe indoors. With the start of the new month April, I welcome this Global Astronomy Month from 1^st April to 30^th April.

There are lot of people, students, scientists and astronomers who want to dig down more deep and deep to explore Universe. There are many fascinating facts and miracles happening in the universe, which everyone wants to experience and observe atleast once in the entire life span!

GAM or Global Astronomy Month is dedicated to all such activities where mankind can come more near to the Universe. It was first celebrated in the year 2009 which was the International year of Astronomy 2009 to celebrate 400^th anniversary of Galileo’s first telescopic exploration of the sky. Astronomers without Borders bring it for everyone under the same sky at night every Year.

GAM 2020 is going to bring a lot of exciting activities with ISR where you can know and thank wonders of Nature and this Universe!

The following activities are going to be organized by Indian School of Robotics :-

1. Solar Observation
2. Astropoetry
3. Astroart
4. Star party
5. Moon and Planet Watch
6. Astrophotography

And lot more astronomical happenings like meteors showers and conjunctions! So, let’s celebrate the wonders of the UNIVERSE where everything is miraculously arranged and functioning!
